She oversees daily operations, supports staff and visitors, and maintains strong relationships across the organisation.

Before stepping into her current leadership role, Tofia worked as Ko Awatea’s Customer Service Coordinator, shaping the experience of thousands of visitors through her commitment to excellence and hospitality. Her earlier career included leadership roles in the hospitality sector and administrative responsibilities in fleet management, giving her a strong foundation in people‑focused service, organisation, and operational oversight.

She is married to Pastor Faaolataga “Tango” Vao, and together they are the proud parents of two children. As a family, they are active in their church community and committed to serving others with integrity, warmth, and a heart for people.
